Low Tech Always Delights Me

I am so fortunate to revel in simple pleasures! One of the challenges of modern mankind is the cost of entertainment. Give me my knitting and spinning and I'm awash in delight.

Me too, me too! Knitting is so entertaining...even the simple wrapping of the yarn around a needle is a joy. Spinning....ah, it's heaven.

Boy you can say that again...I have just had a mini computer emergency that last 12 hours or more that has turned my brain inside out. Obviously I am back on line. I have to go sit beside the dog, woodstove and knit and then I'll be restored. Hopefully see you tonight at our low tech meeting.

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes.

What a great yarn you're using, btw! Rich and subtle at the same time. Mmmm.

Yes. Nice variegated yarn in that picture.

I like that we can do this when the power goes out.

My friend Amy says that she uses knitting as part of migraine control. I took my knitting to a mandatory training on Tuesday in a hot, stuffy room and I swear it's the only thing that kept me from falling asleep. I'm lucky that knitting in trainings is okay - the risk is that trainers remember you. I behave myself because I represent knitters everywhere!

Yes. Though I usually knit while listening to books or watching Netflix or in the company of others, "just knitting" is the best.
