To felt or to weave .....that is the question, but it wasn't a dilemma for me. I decided to do both these last few days. The bag below made out of New Zealand Charisma felted verrrry quickly; thankfully I took Sue'a advice and checked it often. I must say it made me smile. I need to consider what type of button to use. Should it be an understated button that does not compete with the colors or a knitted /crocheted button. Time will tell.

I had a much better weaving result this time with the table runner project below. I hope the recipient likes it as it's a special gift in exchange for the antique wheel he gave me.

Cindy...that table runner is beautiful! ...and I vote for a fancy button on the purty felted bag. :)
The bag is wonderful! I'd go with a bold button that picks up one or more of the bag colors. I am enjoying your weaving projects. How long have you been weaving? I hope you bring some of your FOs, both knit and woven, to the next guild meeting.
I'm with Kristen. I'd go with a bold button on that bag which is WONDERFUL by the way. Lovely weaving as well. Such a multi-talented lady!
I know the dilemma as I have had it with crochet and machine knitting--crochet is winning lately. I do love the felted bag! ...as to the button, I'd go for a bold button too. Lovely work that I can't wait to see in person. -Judith
