Gifts Revealed

Above are the felted mittens I made for Marisa for Christmas!!! They are so soft! Thanks to Carol M I decided to make these out of Garnstudio's wool and angora yarn. Marisa wore them for driving thanks to the Fiber Trends suede palms I bought at RI Handspun.

Here's the Kilmainham Scarf I made for John. The yarn and pattern are from Paula, who created this pattern after a trip to Ireland.

What great gifts you made for 'the kids'. I love the driving mitten idea with the suede grips. Gloves just don't keep your fingers warm enough on really cold days.

Happy New Year, Cindy! Really nice felted mittens--the fact they are soft & you made them for driving is brilliant. The scarf is lovely too! Isn't it great what a trip to Ireland can do to inspire!
