Saturday at The Big E in Springfield

The tradition of butter sculpture continues.

I just love black and white cows and I know Carol R does too!!!

The Oreos!!!

This sheep was so sweet...

A number of reenactors were present.

Here is the prize pumpkin.

Love the Oreo cows!! People near us here have a few Belted Galways and during the summer they "dunk" themselves in the pond--too cute.

Now there's something you don't see everyday- a butter cow riding her butter motorcycle. One of these days I'll have to visit the Big E. It's so close and I've never been.

Hey, Cindy! I didn't make it to the Big E this weekend after all. Went to Camden, ME and attended the Common Ground Fair instead. I did see the results of the fiber judging on the Big E website, so I know how I placed. Did you see which of my sweaters got the 5th place ribbon? Was it the Aran or the Spiral Yoke? It will be interesting to see if Norma wrote any comments on my work. Glad you had a nice day there, at any rate. I still need to update my blog with weekend pics, but right now am heading to bed to try and thwart the first cold of the season. If luck is with me, I'll see you at Su's tomorrow night. Paula
