I've been doing this and that. This bobbin full of fiber is a wonderful merino and mohair that I am spinning from the fold in a slightly thicker singles than I usually spin. The photo does not really show you the true color. I wanted to buy more of this fiber but apparently Ashland Bay is out of this particular color. I only have about a pound so I will have to decide what it wants to be...hmmmm ...I could make a vest with a pound or a hat and mittens.
A week ago Saturday Sue had her Spin In and we spun our hearts off!!! Carol M continued knitting the Fisherlad Gansey. She said I inspired her to finish it because I finished my grand nephew's gansey. Notice the sweater she is wearing....the lovely Starmore St.Brigid.
As you can see Muriel, Sandy, Wendy and her daughter joined in the Spin In.

Oh, such fun! I love spinning with others.
The handspun looks lovely. I'm having some grist consistency issues with mohair-containing fiber. Working on it.....
Your singles are SO pretty!
Ooh what fun! I need to learn to spin!
No matter what you decide to make out of those lovely Ashland Bay singles, it'll be fabulous! It's great to see you spinning "larger than usual."
And I have to add that the photo of Puddy in the post prior to this one is beyond adorable...black cat lover that I am.
