Back In the Groove

I'm finally back in the groove with my knitting projects. Here you see my cabled jacket. I managed to start the right front last night.
I also am continuing work on the surprise baby blanket for my niece.

This morning I was surfin' the web and discovered that Magknits has its new issue out. The tea cozy and socks appear to be the only patterns that tempt me. The vest seems to fit the model improperly.

This weekend I managed to add to the stash by getting some Regia sock yarn in black,gray and red as well as a skein of bulky black alpaca for a hat pattern I found here.
