Raptor Weekend

Raptor Weekend by the R.I. Audubon Society is well worth your time. I was able to see up close some falcons, owls, an American bald eagle and other birds of prey.

On the knitting front: I began Clapotis finally............................long after the Clapotis KAL!

Magnificent, aren't they?! We live right below a red hawk nesting area so get to enjoy their soarings. In early spring, it's amusing to listen to the adolescent's peeping complaints to their parents, chasing them in flight - Wait up, Ma!

I saw the notice for this in the paper but didn't have a chance to go. Impressive birds!

Oh WOW. I can't believe they had an actual bald eagle!

Birds of prey are such incredible creatures. I would have loved to see them up close like that!
