Nursing Shawl
I finished a little shawl for my niece to use when she nurses her newborn. I made it out of some cotton and wool sock yarn for easy washing and drying. It's a simple garter stitch triangle with a crocheted edge.
What a lovely and practical gift! I enjoyed your seagull photos, and like you, I really like the possibilities of Ravelry. I'm knitseashore. What is your name there?
I did the same for my grandson - an oversized washcloth. It's was very successful and has served well. Sometimes the simple things are the best things.
